Ukrainian forces are attempting to push Russian troops out of Oskil and towards the Kupiansk area – Mashovets

Ukrainian forces are fighting to dislodge Russian troops from the area around Oskil, near Kupiansk, in an attempt to eliminate the military foothold of the 6 Russian army. The Russians are trying to break through to the area of White Well and are increasing their forces in the areas of Kucherovka and Petropativka.

Ukrainian armed forces are attempting to eliminate the foothold of the 6 Russian military, forcing Russian troops beyond the Oskil River into the area of Kupiansk, according to military observer Konstantin Mashovets of the "Informational Resistance" media outlet.

According to him, the enemy is attempting to break through to the area of Bilokolyad from both the direction of Vovchansk and from the direction of the incursion in the area of Milove and Artilne. The Russians have redeployed their forces in this area, concentrating them on the direction of Bilokolyad.

In the Kupiansk area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting in the direction of Pysane, Kurylivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovo, while the enemy is trying to increase the number of assault infantry in the area of Kucherivka, PetroPavlivka – so-called "Zaoskolye", the eastern part of Kupiansk. Masovets noted that the situation there is quite difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as the Russians have numerous infiltration groups within the ranks of Ukrainian forward units.

Fighting also continues in the Borovskoye and Lyman directions. Russian forces are located within 1 km of Borovskoye, in the northwest, while their group that infiltrated into one of the positions near the road between Borovoye and Boguslavka controls only one position.
