Volunteer from the Kharkiv-based animal rescue organization, Jess Adams, died during the evacuation of animals from Kramatorsk.

The incident occurred on October 25, when an enemy FPV drone attacked an evacuation vehicle that had just been loaded with rescued animals. According to colleagues, the drone struck the windshield of the vehicle. Jesse sustained serious injuries and was immediately hospitalized.

Despite resuscitation efforts and an emergency operation, the doctors were unable to save the volunteer's life. Jesse Adams was the founder of the Canadian organization, RainCoast Dog Rescue Society. He joined the "Kharkiv Animal Rescue" team and, along with Kharkiv rescuers, traveled to frontline settlements to rescue animals and assist people.

Volunteers working in frontline settlements in the Kharkiv region are regularly targeted by enemy FPV drones. For example, in Zolocheve, the occupiers attacked a vehicle belonging to a humanitarian organization while distributing aid. Fortunately, no one was injured.
