Trehubov: Russia is amassing forces on the Velikoburlutsk direction, possible escalation
Victor Trehubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Operation, October 8, stated that Russian forces are being observed to accumulate on the Velikoburlutsk direction. Currently, this is the least active sector of the front, but according to him, further activity is possible. Trehubov does not expect an offensive on the scale of the Kupiansk or South-Sloboda direction.
On the Velikoburlutsk direction, Ukrainian military forces are observing a certain accumulation of Russian army forces. This was October 8 reported by Victor Trehubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Operation, on the "Suspilne Studio" airwaves.
According to him, this sector remains the least active among other sectors of the front. However, Russian forces are gradually accumulating there, so further activity is possible.
"There will certainly be an escalation there," Trehubov noted. He added that he does not expect an offensive on the scale of the most active directions - South-Sloboda and Kupiansk.
