Kurylivka and Kysharivka: Russia admits it does not control the villages near Kupiansk
Russian forces continue offensive actions north of Kupiansk, but are experiencing difficulties with supply and establishing positions. According to a source that covers the activities of the Russian military grouping "West," Ukrainian forces are operating in Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Kysharivka, and Russian forces do not control them. There are also reports of counterattacks by Ukrainian forces in the area of Borivs'ka Andriivka.

A source that covers the activities of the Russian military group "West" stated on November 6 that Ukrainian forces are operating in Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Kysharivka, and that Russian forces do not control these positions, nor the positions in Kupiansk on the right bank of the Oskol River. It is also reported that Russian forces continue to experience problems with supplying their positions in Kupiansk itself, particularly as a result of the Ukrainian operation "Veles," which disrupted the supply routes for Russian forces to the city via underground pipelines.
According to a source, some battalions within the 347th motorized infantry battalion (47th tank division, 1st Guards Tank Army, Moscow Military District) in the area of Tabayivka-Glushkivka have lost approximately half of their personnel. A Russian military correspondent reported the capture of Sobolivka, which is located immediately to the west of Kupiansk.
Another source from Russia reported on November 6 about Ukrainian counterattacks in the area of Borovskaya Andriyivka, in the Izum district. In the northern part of the Kharkiv region, Russians attacked on November 5 and 6, but did not advance. There were no signs of activity in the Velikoburlutske direction.
