Kharkiv region: Applications for payments of 19 400 UAH under the "Winter Support" program are being accepted until October 30

In Kharkiv and communities in the Kharkiv region, the application process for receiving 19 400 UAH under the "Winter Support" program is ongoing. This benefit is available to families residing in frontline areas – within 0–20 km of the front line.

According to the Ministry of Social Policy and Unity of Ukraine, the funds for these payments have already been allocated to 1424 households. A total of over 7,4 billion hryvnias, from international and national humanitarian organizations, are allocated for the payment of 19 400 UAH.

The head of the State Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Galyna Bayeva, reported that residents of the Kharkiv region have submitted more than 11 000 applications. The application process is ongoing until October 30 – at the Pension Fund service centers, as well as in communities and village councils.

The payment can be received by people with disabilities of all groups, low-income families, internally displaced persons, single mothers, and women who receive assistance for the birth of a child up to the age of three. Also, families where children are raised in family-type children's homes, foster families, and families where children are under the care of a guardian or legal representative.

Separate assistance is available to all recipients of housing subsidies. Баєва explained that recipients of subsidies for October are listed in the register, even if the subsidy is zero or negative during the non-heating period.

The benefit is available to residents of Borovsk, Izюм, Oskil, Bohodukhiv, Zolochiv, Kupiansk, Petrova, Kindrashiv, Шевchenkiv, Vovchan, Starosaltiv, Velikoburlut, Dvorychan, Syrkyn, Derhachiv, Malodanilov, and Kharkiv.
