Kharkiv region: Russia continues to infiltrate behind Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Kupiansk — Tregub
Spokesperson for the Joint Forces, Viktor Tregubov, stated that Russia continues to infiltrate behind Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk, Velykoburlutsk, and South-Slobzhansky directions, specifically within Kupiansk itself from the north. According to him, the Russian foothold on the western bank of the Oskol River between Dvorychna and Kupiansk is shrinking.
Russian forces continue to infiltrate behind Ukrainian positions in the South-Sloboda, Velikoburlutsk, and Kupiansk directions, despite the relatively low intensity of fighting overall. This was stated by the press secretary of the Joint Forces, Viktor Tregubov, during a broadcast on a national marathon.
According to him, infiltration is also ongoing in the Volchansk direction and directly in Kupiansk – from the north. Their aim is partly to create the impression of a presence, and partly to actually establish a foothold. The problem should be resolved by the operation to expel Russians from the right bank of the Oskol River; the military also hope that with the approach of winter, the "green wave" will disappear and such actions by the enemy will become less effective.
The Russian foothold on the western bank of the Oskol between Dvorychna and Kupiansk is shrinking. At the same time, on some fronts, particularly in Velikoburlutsk, there are noticeable regroupings of enemy units and attempts to bring in new troops. According to Tregubov, Ukrainian military personnel are aware of this and are taking appropriate measures.
