ISW: Russia is facing supply issues near Kupiansk, Ukrainian forces are conducting counterattacks

The Institute for the Study of War reports difficulties for Russian forces in the Kupiansk direction, particularly with supplying troops in Kupiansk. Ukrainian forces are conducting counterattacks in the area of Borivska Andriivka.

Russian forces continue offensive actions north of Kupiansk, but are facing difficulties with supplying and establishing positions in the city and its surroundings, according to the Institute for the Study of War.

According to ISW, the supply problems for Russian positions in Kupiansk are likely related to the Ukrainian operation "Veles," during which supply routes through underground pipelines were disrupted.

Individual battalions of the 347th Russian motorized infantry regiment (part of the 1st Tank Army) in the area of Tabayivka - Glushivka have lost approximately half of their personnel.

In addition, Ukrainian forces are conducting counterattacks in the area of Borivska Andriivka, northeast of Borova.
